Arizona TeacherSolutions® Team

Embrace your role as a teacher leader alongside other Arizona educators seeking to expand their impact.

Expand your impact and embrace your teacher leadership

Take your drive to expand your impact and embrace your teacher leadership. The Arizona TeacherSolutions Team supports educators in advancing their leadership, rooted in the National Education Association's Teacher Leadership Competencies. Through this three-year commitment, team members explore leadership strategies, adult learning theory, and the tenets of positive psychology and emotional resilience, while also building the framework and developing sessions for our annual Teacher Leadership Institute.

Arizona TeacherSolutions Team members work together to identify problems of practice that will impact systems in their classroom or community. Collectively, they are reimagining what leadership looks like and how stepping into leadership roles can increase equitable access to quality teachers for all Arizona students.

The Arizona K12 Center launched the Arizona TeacherSolutions® Team in 2011 in partnership with the Center for Teaching Quality (CTQ) and 20 solutions-focused teacher leaders from across the state. Since then, we have worked to further develop the team's curriculum to best support Arizona teacher leaders in the midst of a changing education landscape.
