More from 3Ps' "Visible Learning in Math with Connie Hamilton"

Enjoy our 3Ps episode with Connie Hamilton? We’ve got even more for you to explore here.

Connie talked about her recent book release, Hacking Questions. You can find out about that and her book with Starr Sackstein, Hacking Homework, on Connie’s website here. You can find Connie’s Twitter account here.

Connie also spoke about how excited she is to help lead Visible Learning in Mathematics: Foundations and Beyond in Phoenix on Oct. 29 and 30. Visible Learning grew out of John Hattie’s research on what has the greatest impact on student learning. It really empowers teachers, Connie says.
We’ll take people through a path that even people who have been teaching mathematics for a long time may not have thought about looking at math this particular way,” she says. Visible Learning in Math will be relevant, interactive, fun, and provide everybody “with strategies they can use in their classroom tomorrow.”

This two-day workshop is for math teachers of any grade. You will learn the elements of Visible Learning in math and work with other math teachers in your grade level to explore how to apply them in your classroom. Learn more about Visible Learning in Mathematics: Foundations and Beyond and register here.
