Sharpen Your Skills: Beginning Teacher Series

Your beginning years of teaching are full of opportunities- opportunities to learn, reflect, and grow. In this profession of opportunity, it is imperative that you build a community of support as you pursue these opportunities. Join the Arizona K12 Center for a series of learning that focuses on building a community to support your learning, reflection, and growth.

Join us once a quarter to learn from Arizona’s cadre of Accomplished Teachers. Each session will be hands on, providing you with strategies, collaboration opportunities, and next steps that you can apply to your classroom and career.

The quarterly sessions are:

  • Classroom Engagement to Support All Learners
  • Building Community to Make an Impact
  • Social Emotional Learning and Its Impact on Learners
  • Building Your Professional Capacity: Planning for Next Year

Participants will:

  • Build a professional learning community with other beginning teachers.
  • Engage in hands on strategies that can be used in their classrooms immediately.
  • Build their professional identity as an educator.
