Project-Based Learning And Assessment
Project-Based Learning is an effective way to engage students in learning that matters by applying experience and knowledge to real world problems. Join Dr. Jennifer Pieratt of CraftED Curriculum as you explore Project-Based Learning and Assessment through hands-on experiences in planning real world projects based on community partnerships. This learning opportunity is intended for secondary teachers in grades 6-12 who teach in departmentalized settings. Be prepared to dive into deep learning around Project-Based Learning that you can implement right away!
Participants will:
- Gain a deeper understanding of Project-Based Learning
- Plan for assessment of Project-Based Learning
- Design real world service learning project
- Receive project coaching and collaboration on implementation of project
