National Board Component 3 Learning Session: Testing, Testing 1, 2, 3
Are you a National Board Candidate looking to dive a little deeper into Component 3? If yes, then this one-hour online learning session may be just what you are looking for.
In this learning session, we’ll differentiate between formative and summative assessments, practice identifying evidence regarding formative assessment, and brainstorm how to respond when students do and do not meet a lesson’s objective. This session is interactive and will connect to your video recording for Component 3.Learning Objectives:
- Explore what National Board Component 3 is asking of you
- Explore ways in which to provide clear, consistent, and convincing evidence of accomplished teaching in your Component 3 video and written commentary
- Connect with NBCTs and other candidates to better understand the National Board source materials (propositions, standards, component directions, and rubric)
