AI in Education: A Series for Arizona Educators - Evening Reception Only
Join Dr. Chad Gestson, Ken Shelton, and educators from across Arizona interested in responsibly integrating AI into their schools and districts. Dr. Chad Gestson will provide school leaders with an understanding of best practices for generative AI implementation in our state, while Ken Shelton will set the foundation for the deeper learning to come in the series.
Dr. Chad Gestson is the executive director of the Arizona Institute for Education and the Economy, which published the Generative Artificial Intelligence in K-12 Education, Guidance for Arizona Schools and School Systems: A Balanced Perspective. He was previously the superintendent of Phoenix Union High School District.
Ken Shelton is a highly distinguished, multi-award-winning professional and best-selling author in the field of education. He is the co-author of The Promises and Perils of AI in Education: Ethics and Equity Have Entered the Chat, a book that all learning day attendees will receive with registration.
