Becoming a Master Teacher is one of the best ways to grow your teaching career. Through the Arizona Master Teacher Program, you will have the opportunity to increase your responsibilities and develop your role as an educator.

Master Teachers can perform two distinct roles within their schools or districts.

First, you have the choice to work with the newest teachers entering the profession as a mentor and coach.

The second option is to serve as a content coach for experienced teachers in the content area of English, math, or science. This route has specific requirements for each content area, so check and see if you qualify for your area of interest.

No matter your choice, you’ll help change the lives of your fellow educators — and their students.
