

District Application Information
The Arizona K12 Center awards financial assistance to districts based upon a competitive application process. Districts that are selected enter into sub-contract agreements with the Arizona K12 Center/NAU yearly for up to 3 years.
Districts may apply to become Project Districts if the district or specified sites within the district meet at least two of these requirements:
- 60% or higher poverty
- 25% or higher teacher turnover (have lost or hired an average of 25% or more teachers new to the district in the last three years)
- Any Middle School or High School
- Underperforming or not meeting AYP for two consecutive years
Districts may combine sites for eligibility and mentoring/coaching, and preference will be given to districts/sites that adhere to the ratio of 1:15 with a full time mentor/coach. All sites included must meet at least two of the above criteria.
