Here's the transcript of the infomercial.
Scheduling an event or meeting is often a nightmare! It's bad enough that you have to meet in the first place, and figuring out a date and time to meet can be a monumental task. A day that works for one person doesn't work for another. And coordinating it all fills up your inbox and takes so much time.
There's a better way to decide on a date and time for a meeting--it's a website called Doodle. At doodle.com you can quickly and easily poll a group of two or more people. The results will help you decide when to schedule that parent meeting, teacher evaluation, field trip, professional development, or committee meeting.
It's simple to set up a Doodle--it takes just three steps. Before getting started, you may want to create an account, but it's not required. Otherwise, get started by clicking the Schedule event button.
Step One is to fill out a description of the event.
Step Two is to select possible dates for the meeting or event. Click on as many dates as you want.
Step Three is to select possible times for each date selected. Then click Finish.
Doodle gives you two web links, one to send to everyone you wish to invite to the event or meeting. The second is a link in case you want to edit or delete the poll. Doodle will email both of these links to you.
When invitees receive the link, they simply add their names on the left and click the check boxes of when it's ok with them to schedule the event or meeting.
By looking at the green boxes, you can now schedule a meeting with confidence that you've picked the best date and time for it.
Also at Doodle.com--use the service to have people vote on important topics like where to hold the meeting and which kinds of donuts to bring.
