Application Submission Guildelines

Master Teacher Application (link to application)

If you meet the Master Teacher eligibility requirements outlined in the Master Teacher application, please submit the following items to on or before March 25:

  • Copy of your Arizona Teaching License
  • Copy of your National Board Certification or proof of completion for Components 2 or 3 with a qualifying score of 2.75
  • Professional Learning Plan
  • Three letters of recommendation (one must be from current supervisor)
  • Content Coaches Only: AEPA Scores or 24 college credits in the desired area

Be sure to include in the subject line your name and “Master Teacher Application.” 

Master Teacher Program District Application (link to application)

If your district or school meets the eligibility requirements for The Master Teacher Program as outlined in the Arizona’s Master Teacher Program School/District application, please submit the following items electronically to on or before January 30, 2017. In addition, one original copy of all original signed document must be postmarked by Friday, January 30, 2017 and mailed to:

  • Specifically address each area of the Induction Program or InTASC Standards and show a comprehensive approach to developing, supporting, and sustaining a Master Teacher program, beyond three years of funding
  • A needs assessment and statement of eligibility
  • A detailed explanation of each program component and how you are addressing the component
  • The names of Master Teacher Mentors and Coaches who will be mentoring in the 2017-2018 school year
  • A statement addressing how the school/district intends to meet each of the key program objectives, priorities, and school/district requirements
  • A letter from the Superintendent and the Governing Board President
  • A detailed budget and item explanation on required form
